MY OWN IDEAS

Pretty basic watercolor /sketch of a pink and black polka dotted dress. The back is brought in like a tank top exposing the shoulders and back using a floral patterned black lace. I then thought it would be cute to do a collar and buttons down the front and a wide above the knee length skirt. I then paired it off with some simple coordinated heels.

Not quite sure what sparked this design, but it has a heart shaped dark blue tube with several layers of fabric wound around it. The skirt part contains three different cut/lengths of the same blue material as the top and a white
mesh layered atop of that as well. The mesh contains little buttons/charms of adorable pigs and cows. To pull it all together there is a pearl strung collar type necklace with a blue accent bow connecting it all.

First dress ever sewn. Took me about 5 hours. Made out of a speckled grey stretchy knit fabric. I topped it off with a cream coloured belt.

 THE MOI COLLECTION

This collection is inspired by me. each has a collage to display the inspiration and feel for each outfit.

 The BoyFrannk

This sketch depicts how I would style an outfit around the qualities of my boyfriend.
It's casual, playful, and sporty.

Outfit: Baseball jersey tucked into some capris which have multiple colourful patches as well as heart patches on the knees. Shoes are comfortable, simple low cut converse.

Accessories: Multiple friendship bracelets on the right hand and a charm bracelet on the left. Simple studded earrings. A Frisbee is held in the left hand. Hair is side parted with pigtails.

Born to be Dorky

This design was inspired by the boyish side of me. It has a little edge turning it into the hipster-like outfit. Which was unintended....

Outfit: A loose fitting Spider-Man tee is accompanied by a slouchy sweater. Arm warmers. Stressed skinny jeans (zippers, patches, random pockets). A pair of high top boot/sneaker like shoes with buckles.

Accessories: A Jade ball necklace with waxed chord. Pair of black square framed glasses. Hair in a messy bun with a flower crown to top it off.

Mind Splatter

This outfit was inspired by my creative side. The side that wishes time didn't exist and that sleep was required to function normally. The side that wants to do everything at once and enjoys multitasking the most.

Outfit: Stretchy slouched top underneath a white lab/artist jacket. The jacket has multiple pockets containing paint brushes and pencils. There are also ink and paint splotches splashed about. The sleeves are rolled up to the elbow. A pencil skirt has a few splotches on it and an eighth note patch above the side slit. Slouches polka dot socks accompany oxford shows with small bows on the tongues.

Accessories: Multiple bead statement necklace. Large oval shaped beaded bracelet on the right wrist and a opal ring on the pinky of the left hand. A pocket-watch is in the left breast pocket. Hair is full of volume. Curly and frizzy.

Walkin' On Sunshine

This outfit is inspired by happier days. Preferably sunny happy days.

Outfit: Sundress with fitting bust and rib cage with a heart-like neckline. A heart cut-out in the back to show off shoulder blades. Bottom portion of the dress is a little above the knee and pleated. Shoes are flats with a large beaded circle at the toe.

Accessories: Sterling Silver necklace with sun pendant. 1 large wooden bangle on the right wrist. Hair is in a loose chignon with a ribbon to tie it off.

***I have actually brought this dress to life and will have modeling photos up soon!***

Classy and Sassy

I wanted this outfit to be more formal. To be very elegant and feminine. I achieved this using a ball/party feel.

Outfit: Corset strapless ballgown with a V shape down the front as well as a deep V in the back. Where the bodice meets the skirt there is beaded circular detailing. The bodice has triangle detailing in the front to bring the illusion that the wearer is slimmer. In the back the bodice laces up and is shaped more like a square. At the two corners of the square there are ribbons/streamers running down the back length of the skirt. The skirt is full and touches the floor. The shoes are basic platform pointed heals.

Accessories: A simple flower necklace accompanied by matching earrings. A basic yet elegant clutch. Hair in an updo with pieces of curled/wavy hair on either side to frame the face.

Gauze

This outfit was created to represent darker days. Ones where you want to be left alone by everyone to wallow in your own hate.

Outfit: A graphic crop top is layered with an open flannel and moto jacket. The jacket has shoulder pads made of a heavy duty darker fabric. Dark washed skinny jeans with the middle section of the legs replaced by a quilt stitched faux leather. The shoes are two inch platform combat boots.

Accessories: Hair is very long and sleek with bangs that cover the eyes.

Quirky

This bubbly outfit is made to be crazy, random, and fun! Time to go hop, skip, jump, and prance about!

Outfit: Short strapless bubble dress with a fabric shift from the middle of the neckline moving diagonally to the left side at the waist. Waves of tulle are used around the sides to create an even more poofy feel. Laced ribbon ballet flats complete the look.

Accessories: Colorful beaded necklace with a strawberry pendant. Right wrist has a cat bracelet and left upper arm has loose braided armband. Hair is shoulder length with messy waves. Bunny ears pop up from the mass of hair.

Addicted to Colour

This outfit revolves around make-up. The love and desire to create on your face.

Outfit: Off the shoulder top with bandeau underneath. This top represents lipstick.
Skirt takes a form similar to a make-up brush with many beaded strings attached to it. Underneath the skirt are leggings which have many colours smudged about them to represent a palette. Shoes are flats with powder puffs at the toes.

Accessories: Metal cuff bracelet on the left hand. String of pearls around the neck. Hair is done in two small buns on either side of the head.
